Position Overview

The role of Relationship Manager is to forge direct relationships relevant investment consultants with operations in the UK. The role will work closely with the EMEA Head of Consultant Relations to identify new business opportunities with investment consultants and their clients, and will seek to broaden the number of ratings and relationships with leading investment consultants.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop relationships with investment consultant organisations in the UK – covering manager researchers, field consultants, and fiduciary teams. Lead coverage for a number of UK investment consultants, and support coverage to EMEA Head of Consultant Relations for a number of global investment consultants.

  • Lead efforts with manager research teams to achieve new ratings, and maintain existing ones

  • Lead sales efforts with fiduciary teams to win new business and drive flows

  • Help improve the profile of the firm with investment consultants, as well as familiarity with key rated strategies

  • Support and collaborate with colleagues around the world to effectively cover global investment consulting organisations

  • Collaborate with Client Coverage teams in EMEA to help raise new business through prospects advised by investment consultants

  • Market intelligence gathering and dissemination – consultant thinking, competitors, market trends

  • Working with Investment teams and Marketing on messaging, materials, and communications to tailor for the channel

  • Responding to requests from investment consultants

  • Attend industry conferences, network and develop relationships with prospects

  • Support team initiatives

  • Oversee maintenance of client information, including updating CRM system.
