Neuberger Berman AUM Reporting Analyst in New York, New York
As part of the Finance group, the AUM Reporting Analyst will be a key role in all aspects of AUM reporting and analysis. The analyst will work closely with members of Finance, Client Coverage Support, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Business Support and Technology.
Support the monthly and quarterly production of AUM metrics for various internal stakeholders, including: marketing, sales and other key partners
Respond to client inquiries and requests for AUM data in a timely manner
Ensure consistency and accuracy of consolidated AUM-related information – e.g. market variance on funds, effective fee rate analyses, etc.
Liaise with our business partners to understand their needs and refine AUM reporting capabilities
Challenge existing processes to identify efficiencies and present process improvement recommendations
Assist with ad-hoc management reporting and analyses as well as project-related requests
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of financial or management reporting and analysis experience required
Familiarity with the Asset Management industry preferred
Strong technical skills required – e.g. advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and accuracy
Well-organized with the ability to pivot as needed due to shifting priorities; strong problem-solving skills
Effective communicator – both verbal and written; able to work across teams and with professionals of varying degrees of seniority
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work both independently and within a team environment under tight deadlines
