Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be a member of the Almanac IQ team which provides strategic corporate services to our real estate portfolio companies across a broad spectrum of disciplines. This individual will:

  • Assist portfolio companies and Almanac with ESG-related monitoring and reporting

  • Engagement with portfolio companies on ESG topics relevant to the company’s business model such as, but limited to sustainability, climate, worker health and safety, diversity & inclusion, data privacy and cyber security

  • Coordinate with Investor Relations team on due diligence materials and information requests related to ESG and Diversity

  • Support the integration of ESG analysis and relevant data into the investment process at portfolio companies and Almanac

  • Identify emerging ESG topics which may become material to Almanac and portfolio companies and work with stakeholders to evaluate potential impact to the Almanac funds and investments

  • Partner with the data science and technology teams at NB to identify novel ESG data sources and analytic techniques and incorporate into investment analysis

  • Collaborate with broader industry contacts through content development and communications, including Almanac hosted webinars and events

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and interest in ESG or impact investing; ideally real estate related experience

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analytics

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including synthesizing data, research, and conceptual work into actionable and presentable deliverables

  • Resourceful with ability to navigate to solutions independently, and able to handle multiple priorities with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Strong sense of professionalism and integrity

  • Keen attention to detail and strong critical thinking capabilities

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and focus on results; eagerness and drive to learn the business

  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials and a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
