Neuberger Berman Operations Analyst in New York, New York

Summary:

Regulatory Reporting is a New York based team who is responsible for overseeing Firm level as well as private fund level obligations to various regulatory bodies such as the SEC, CFTC and others. Working alongside a global team, the successful candidate will be a confident, analytical self-starter who will partner closely with key stakeholders across the firm to ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met. The successful candidate will be tasked with accurately following through on defined regulatory requirements to ensure complete and timely data sourcing, analysis and compliance with all key deliverables across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of several key functions within Regulatory Reporting to ensure proper execution and compliance for all US Regulatory obligations.

  • Production support: review quarterly filing scope, data integrity checks, quarterly filing preparation

  • Day-to-day support of new/ongoing Regulatory Reporting processes, liaising with Legal/Compliance, Business and Support and Control groups, as well as 3rd party administrators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting of process flows and business requirements.

  • Provide updates and status checks across various levels of management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python or equivalent.

  • General product knowledge (Equities, Fixed Income, Options, Alternatives and Derivatives).

  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products – MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Results-driven and focused team player with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, able to create positive and productive work environment.

  • Energetic, detail-oriented multi-tasker able to follow through on complex tasks to ensure accuracy and completion.
