Neuberger Berman Product Marketing Manager-North America in New York, New York

Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager – North America is responsible for driving narrative and collateral development for the firm’s key investment priorities. This role reports functionally to the Global Head of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Distill complex investment concepts quickly and incisively across equities, fixed income, alternatives, real estate and multi-asset strategies to refine delivery of key messages and develop marketing collateral

  • Lead the creative process by which core messages are created and shaped

  • Drive collateral development across multiple communication types: presentations, external and internal websites, thought leadership, talking points, sales guides, investment communications, etc.

  • Work across all client types, in partnership with Sales and Channel Marketing teams, to support sales activities across Institutional, Intermediary and Private Wealth Management channels

  • Work closely with junior members of the team to enhance their collateral and provide guidance/mentorship; with potential for future formal management responsibility

  • Identify and lead strategic projects

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, and minimum of 10-15 years of direct or related experience

  • Strong investment background and acumen, covering one or more asset classes

  • Strong applied creativity (i.e., the ability to both generate and implement messaging frameworks and ideas)

  • Outstanding communication skills, including writing and creating presentations

  • Deep understanding of client experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management

  • Motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detail and quality

  • Comfort with PowerPoint and Excel

  • Advanced degrees / qualifications in investment management (e.g. CFA, CAIA) a big plus
