As a member of the Private Bank Coverage Team, the Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering Neuberger Berman’s unique investment solutions and capabilities to Private Bank clients and prospects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities with manager research (leadership and analyst), CIO and product teams in an effort to secure platform placement, recommended status or model inclusion of Neuberger Berman investment solutions

  • Work closely with portfolio management teams and other key internal constituents to articulate NB strategies

  • Lead in-person and virtual client meetings with home office relationships, coordinate and travel with portfolio managers for roadshows and strategy updates

  • Collaborate with Bank Team Head for senior client engagement at key firms to strengthen relationships and connectivity

  • Partner with Bank Team colleagues to ensure a world-class client experience and relationship support for existing researched, recommended and model portfolio mandates

  • Maintain comprehensive CRM processes to capture meeting activities and pipeline opportunities


  • A minimum of 8 years of Financial Industry experience with an in depth knowledge of investment products (Mutual Funds, SMAs, Alternatives) and the investment management industry preferred.

  • Intermediary Distribution / Private Bank knowledge and relationships

  • Track record of growing new / existing relationships and closing new business

  • Effective communication and presentations skills

  • Undergraduate Degree with additional achievements preferred (MBA, CFA, CAIA, etc.)

  • Series 7, 63 and 65/66
