Summary:

The Client Engagement Advisor is responsible for supporting senior client advisors providing strategic relationship management, investment solutions and capital markets insights to Family Office and RIA clients and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior relationship managers to actively co-manage existing NB relationships, providing world class service to all

  • Effectively profile clients, developing a deep understanding of client-specific investment goals and objectives, understand investment processes, etc.

  • Provide insightful commentary regarding market movements, economic and industry trends, and position NB solutions for cross – sell opportunities appropriately.

  • Provide clients with accurate performance attribution, portfolio strategy, and market performance; summarize and explain complex financial and economic concepts to educate clients

  • Liaise with other internal teams (marketing, performance, analytics, operations, legal & compliance) to ensure client needs are met.

  • Oversee relationship management at NB home office, be the go-to resource for any problem resolution or ad-hoc inquiries, facilitate onsite client meetings with NB investment professionals and senior management, leverage all internal resources to help enrich client experience, and forge long lasting relationships between the client and NB.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience

  • Excellent investment and capital markets acumen

  • Familiarity with Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and other sophisticated asset classes

  • Ability to effectively communicate and position complex financial instruments and investment processes

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-up

  • Capacity to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$115,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
